Worka Chelbessa, in southern Gedeo, has earned a reputation for producing some of Ethiopia’s most exceptional coffees. Coffee producer Neguesse Debela opened his first site here in 2017 and expanded to a second washing station in the nearby Danche area in 2019. His team carefully crafts both washed and natural coffees, alongside experimental lots, always pushing for higher quality. Coffees from Worka Chelbessa are prized for their juicy body, bright citrus notes, and delicate floral sweetness, creating a cup that is vibrant, balanced, and uniquely memorable.
